WELCOME to a new school year.  Every student will be enrolled with a teacher (me for your student) participating through Google Classroom, along with video meetings. This is the only option for students as of now.

A laptop, Chromebook, or desktop w/video camera are the best devices to use.  Tablet users may find some programs difficult to use.  Cell phones are not recommended devices for your child's learning this 9-weeks. Please let me know ASAP what device your child has available to use. The school may be able to assist, if you should need it.  I will be calling you within the next few days. Just a heads up when I call, it may show up as "Private" or "Anonymous" or "Unknown" on your phone.
 

I have used REMIND for several years now, so that families can contact me through text.  I HIGHLY encourage you to sign up for our class REMIND.
I will send you a request to join or you may join by: 

• texting 81010 with the message @rm-108 

• On your cell phone, open your web browser and go to rmd.at/rm-108 Follow the instructions to sign up for Remind.  You'll be prompted to download the mobile app.

I know things are difficult right now but we will work together to help your child learn.  I am here for you and your child.  It has always taken us both to educate your child--even more so now.  We CAN do this-together! Email me or send me a text (once you get remind set up) with questions, concerns, or just to brag about your child.  I may not always know the answer to your questions but I will try to find out in a timely manner.
