A wonderful year is ahead of you and your child. Fifth grade is a wonderful time in a young person's life. It is full of growth and new experiences. I hope I can help you and your child feel comfortable this year as we learn together. Let me tell you a little about myself to help us get to know one another. First, I have five children. Kaden, 16, Kynadee who is 13, Kason 11 and Devin, 16 and Kennedi, 14 are gifts from a wonderful new husband.  I am originally from Beattyville, Ky., a very small town. I came to Morehead to attend MSU. I have been teaching for 14 years. I feel like Morehead is home now and couldn't imagine teaching anywhere else. I love teaching and enjoy every day. I think I am very lucky to have the opportunity to work with families and their children.
