Hello everyone,
Just a little introduction, I am currently a 3rd grade teacher at Rodburn Elementary School. This is my third year teaching in Rowan County, however I have taught for 20 years in Carter County at Olive Hill Elementary. I have taught in several different subjects ( music, 4th grade math, PE and 3rd grade) over the years.
On a personal level, I am a 1990 graduate of Fort Loramie High School. Fort Loramie is a small town about 1 hour north of Dayton, Ohio, where most of my family still lives today. I came to Morehead State University to run for the cross country team and fell in love with the area and decided to stay. I graduated from MSU with a Bachelors degree in 1996. I also completed the Fifth Year program in 2008
I currently live in Morehead with my husband of 25 years and my 3 wonderful children: Trad who is a Freshman at Midway University and a set of twins that are in the 10th grade at RCSHS. I assist with the RC cross country and coach the track team.
In my free time I enjoy running, walking reading skiing, swimming and of course hanging out with my friends and family.
