I am Micah Stokes and while I am new to the Rowan County District, this will be my 13 year of teaching and my fifth at Rowan County Middle School. I previously taught at  McNabb Middle and  Franklin-Simpson Middle School. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Morehead State University in Middle Level Education 5-9 Mathematics and Social Studies. I have a Master’s Degree from the University of the Cumberlands in Administration.

I am from Montgomery County. However, I became a resident of Rowan County in 2015, and am thrilled to have the opportunity to impact our community. I have a wonderful husband, Matthew and we have four beautiful children; Haddy, Will, Sawyer and Kayleigh Rose. I am very blessed to have such a loving family which fills my life with joy!
