Introduction:

My name is Stacie May. I moved to Morehead several years ago from a small town in Pike County, KY. I have been working in the Rowan County school district for 13 years. Eleven of which have been teaching at RCMS.  I attended Morehead State University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education as well as my Master of Arts in Education. I am National Board certified in the area of English Language Arts.  This year I am excited to be teaching 6th,7th, and 8th grade RTI Reading. I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my family. I am looking  forward to a wonderful school year!

About our Class:

Students in Reading RTI class will use the Reading Plus online platform as well as direct instruction from me to work on specific reading comprehension and vocabulary acquisition skills. In order to be successful, it is important for students to be in attendance and fully participating each day. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
