Gateways To Educational Materials (GEM) allows you to quickly and easily search for educational resources, such as lesson plans and curriculum units.  GEM is sponsored by the National Education Association (NEA). 

Kathy Schrock's Guide For Educators is a categorized list of sites useful for enhancing curriculum and professional growth. It is updated often to include the best sites for teaching and learning.

KET EncycloMedia is an Internet-based comprehensive learning service offered free to Kentucky public schools. It is the result of a partnership between Kentucky Education Television and the Kentucky Department of Education.  It offers teachers and students more than 4,000 videos, 40,000 video clips, and thousands of digital images, all searchable by key word, content area, grade level, and Kentucky academic standards.

Kentucky Department Of Education Core Content For Assessment - represents the content that has been identified as essential for all students to know and will be included on the state assessment. 

Lesson Plans:

The “Lesson Plans” link will direct teachers to various methods of searching for appropriate lessons.  There are other items located at Teacher.Net, like chatrooms, curriculum resources, and professional articles.

PBS Teachers is PBS' national web destination for high-quality preK-12 educational resources. Here you'll find classroom materials suitable for a wide range of subjects and grade levels. There are thousands of lesson plans, teaching activities, on-demand video assets, and interactive games and simulations. These resources are correlated to state and national educational standards and are tied to PBS' award-winning on-air and online programming like NOVA, Nature, Cyberchase, Between the Lions and more. 

Graphic Organizers - Graphic organizers are an illustration of thoughts on paper. They can help brainstorm, organize, and visualize ideas.

The WebQuest Page
This is a resource for teachers who want to use the WebQuest model to incorporate web sites into instruction.  Examples of WebQuests are available here. 

This user-friendly site allows teachers to search the Internet and then create learning activities, like WebQuests, Hotlists, Samplers, and Scavenger Hunts. 

Webgen is a free (GPL-licensed) command line application for generating static websites.

This site will allow users to create and manage a wiki, which is a collaborative web site that may be edited by all users of the wiki. 

EPals SchoolBlog
This site allows teachers to create class blogs. 

Class Blogmeister is a service of David Warlick and The Landmark Project and allows teachers to create class blogs. 

This social bookmarking site allows users to bookmark favorite sites and share/access them from any computer. 

Check out this "YouTube-like" site that is designed for educational settings.
